Shaura Hall

Founder/Director

Hello, I’m Shaura.

My journey into wholeness began in 2004, when I found myself in a Native American sweat lodge in Oregon. It was there that I encountered my first spiritual community – a connection that has remained alive and formative over the years. My time in the ceremonial world, including a long commitment to the Sundance and an ongoing relationship with this lineage, continues to influence how I live, learn, and walk in the world.

In 2005, back in the UK, I began practising Reiki as a form of self-healing. Within a few years, it became clear that this work would extend beyond my own process and into supporting others. Around the same time I began practising Kundalini Yoga, which opened a deep and sustained inquiry into embodiment, consciousness, and transformation. I taught my first class in early 2007, and I have been a student of yoga as a living practice ever since.

I trained as a Yoga Therapist with The Minded Institute (C-IAYT), and later developed the Yoga Therapy for Addictions CPD training — an early expression of how my work naturally weaves together the somatic, the psychological, and the relational. Over time, my work expanded to include psychotherapy, supervision, and interfaith ministry, alongside ongoing study and practice.

The Yogologist holds the strands of my work that are rooted in practice, learning, and journey: retreats, transpersonal yoga teacher training, meditation, Yoga Nidra, and training pathways that support integration over time. It is a place to approach the work slowly and organically — through study, reflection, and embodied experience.

For those seeking personal therapeutic work with me (psychotherapy, Yoga Therapy, or supervision), I now hold that work through Shaura Hall, which you can visit via the links on this site.

As the Founder of the Pilamaya Centre and Course Director of the groundbreaking Integration Psychotherapy level 5 diploma and Psychedelic Assisted Integration Psychotherapy (PAIP) CPD certificate programs, I would invite you to head over to Pilamaya if you are interested in professional training in psychotherapy.
