Yoga Therapy & Mindfulness for Addictions
24-27th October 2024
Addictions influence all aspects of a person’s life. Evidence reflects that comprehensive treatments that consider the mind, body, behaviour, and world-view are most effective in the long-term. Yoga is an integrative, biopsychosocial practice, which builds self-awareness, strength, clarity of mind, impulse control, an internal nexus of control, and resilience.
By clearly understanding how therapeutic yoga can promote psychological and physical changes, yoga professionals, key workers and therapists can tailor practices to support and fortify the addicted mind, easing the process of recovery and helping to prevent relapse.
Who is the training for
Yoga Therapy for Addictions is geared towards yoga teachers, therapists and professional addiction workers. Our training will give you the skills to work from a complete mind-body perspective.
